The first two songs from adrift and the tracks where I would consider myself to actually start getting "good" at making electronic music. Special Needs was based off of a field recording I had gotten of this light show performance that was happening in Baltimore, which is where the main bell melody came from. I always felt the atmosphere of this and breathe to be very compelling, something about it is unsettling in a way I'm really proud of. Breathe as a track was a huge stepping stone as it was the first real ambient song I'd ever made. Huge thanks to slikktic for making me feel like I could pull that sound off, the entirety of adrift, landscapes, and inverse could never exist without ya.
